This Cookie Policy explains how The Dot Dev uses cookies and similar technologies to store information on, or access information from, your device. Some are essential for the site to work securely. We use optional technologies only after you choose to allow them.
Who we are
The Dot Dev is a trading name of Dynamic Online Technologies LTD. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@thedotdev.com.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and tags that can store information on, or access information from, your device.
How we use them
Essential technologies remember your privacy choice, protect Foyer and forms, carry a Foyer summary into a contact flow you request and provide temporary recovery if a contact submission is interrupted.
Google Analytics is optional. It remains off unless you choose to allow Analytics in Cookie settings.
Current inventory
The inventory below describes the storage and tags verified in the website release dated 14 July 2026.
- tdd_consent_v1 — first-party essential cookie on thedotdev.com; stores only the consent schema version, saved timestamp and Analytics/Marketing/Preferences booleans; created when you save a privacy choice; kept for 180 days.
- dot_contact_prefill — first-party essential session storage; created only when you choose a Foyer-to-contact handoff; holds the selected service, platform and reviewable summary; consumed and removed by the contact flow, otherwise ends with the browser session.
- tdd_lead_backup_queue — first-party essential local storage on the contact page; temporarily protects a contact submission during delivery or retry; created only when you submit the form; entries are kept for no more than seven days.
- Google tag G-B95BWE1JCG and _ga / _ga_* cookies — Google Analytics; third-party Analytics technology requested only after you allow Analytics; measures page and interaction events and remains off after rejection or withdrawal.
- Foyer signed session and Turnstile security checks — essential in-memory/session and network security controls used when you open or use Foyer; they protect the assistant from abuse and do not require optional Analytics consent.
Your choices
You can accept or reject optional technologies when the banner appears. To choose by category, select Manage settings.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer. Your new choice applies from that point forward. If you clear cookies or site data in your browser, we may need to ask for your choice again.
Browser controls
Browser settings can also block or delete cookies. Some essential site functions may not work if you block all storage. Browser controls do not replace the choices available through our Cookie settings.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our use of cookies or similar technologies changes. We will update the effective date and, where required, ask for a new choice before using a new or changed optional technology.
